Mercury Alliance

mercury-allianceMAPA is a proud member of Mercury Alliance. The goal of the Mercury Alliance is to increase awareness of the importance of Missouri’s transportation system to the citizens of the state through strategic outreach that is issue driven, educational, and demographically and geographically inclusive.

Eight Communities of Interest meet regularly to discuss issues related to improvement and maintenance of Missouri’s transportation system within the context of each community’s focus area. Those focus areas include: Economic Development, Education & Research, Freight, Highways & Bridges, Industry Advancement & Diversity, Innovation, Safety, and Total Transportation. These discussions generate information and ideas related to the current state of Missouri’s transportation system within each of these focus areas as well as recommendations for future action.

The Mercury Alliance Policy Council, along with the Executive Board, receives information and recommendations from the Community of Interest Groups. They work together to assemble and coordinate thoughts and ideas from the Communities of Interest to create presentations and publications that demonstrate the benefits and advantages of a modern comprehensive transportation system for Missouri.

Informational materials including presentations and publications are created to communicate Mercury Alliance positions and findings including, but not limited to: White Papers, Press Releases, Articles, Infographics, Presentations, and Website.

The Mercury Alliance uses its work product to engage the citizens of Missouri and their elected officials in a conversation about the immediate and long-term future of Missouri’s comprehensive transportation system. View Mercury Alliance’s Website ›
