The MAPA Emerging Leaders along with the MAPA Safety Committee will be hosting a COVID-19 Risk Control Webinar. The webinar will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2.

Construction companies are taking actions on jobsites across the region to ensure the safety of their team while they provide essential services. Join the discussion to hear the latest recommendations and updates and ask the experts about specific actions you can take for your field and office teams. Please send any questions you want addressed to dalewilliams@moasphalt.org by Tuesday, March 31. We will forward them for the panel to review as we work to address the concerns of today. The expert panel will be led by Jake Lyon of IMA Insurance.

Below are some of the items we plan to address for the webinar/discussion.

  • Tool box talks
  • Handwashing station options
  • Waste removal options

MAPA Lobby Day

Join MAPA this year and together we can enhance our voice at the State Capitol. It is more important than ever that we remain influential at the State Capitol as we work toward a sustainable funding solution and fend off harmful legislation.

While there’s strength in numbers in politics, an individual constituent contacting their State House and Senate member carries a lot of weight. Legislators rarely hear from constituents – in fact, receiving 10 emails or calls on a single topic is usually indicative of a crisis.

Agenda:

8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. – Meet at Husch Blackwell Strategies for briefing

Husch Blackwell Strategies (view map)
217 E. Capitol
Jefferson City, MO 65101

8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – State Capitol – Legislative Visits

Prior to Lobby Day, we encourage you to set up meetings with your local legislators.
