MAPA Emerging Leaders Webinar: Specifying Asphalt for Success

Topic Description:

The expected life and maximum performance of properly installed quality asphalt is dramatically affected by selecting the right mix for the right application. Please join Steve Jackson P.E. as he presents on the differences between many of the common mix designs in our region and helps gain a better understanding of the factors that should be considered when determining which mix will perform best in different situations. In addition to specifying the correct mix Steve, will also walk through the process of properly inspecting the finished product for each design type.

  • Gain a better understand of the differences in asphalt mix designs
  • Gain a better understanding of the factors that effect the decision of which mix design to specify
  • Understand how to insure you are performing the right inspection for the mix design you chose

COVID-19 Risk Control Webinar

The MAPA Emerging Leaders along with the MAPA Safety Committee will be hosting a COVID-19 Risk Control Webinar. The webinar will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2.

Construction companies are taking actions on jobsites across the region to ensure the safety of their team while they provide essential services. Join the discussion to hear the latest recommendations and updates and ask the experts about specific actions you can take for your field and office teams. Please send any questions you want addressed to dalewilliams@moasphalt.org by Tuesday, March 31. We will forward them for the panel to review as we work to address the concerns of today. The expert panel will be led by Jake Lyon of IMA Insurance.
