How To Join MAPA
To become a MAPA member, complete the online application form. All applications are subject to approval by MAPA’s Board at its quarterly meeting.
Membership Types & Eligibility
Applicants must select one of the membership categories and certify that they meet the respective eligibility criteria and agree to abide by MAPA’s Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. Note: some member types are non-voting and may not hold office.

Producer Member
Companies that manufacture or supply asphalt mixtures in Missouri. Producer Members are at the core of Missouri’s asphalt industry—delivering high-quality materials for everything from highways and city streets to parking lots, driveways, and other asphalt projects across the state.
Contractor (Non-Producer) Member
Companies that place or apply asphalt mixtures and asphalt products in Missouri. These members build and maintain asphalt pavements for state and local roadways, parking lots, driveways, and a wide range of public and private projects.
Bituminous Supplier / Refinery Member
Companies that refine and supply bituminous materials used in the production of asphalt mixtures in Missouri. These members provide a dependable source of asphalt binder essential to the industry’s success.
Bituminous Supplier / Non-Refinery Member
Companies that supply bituminous materials used in the production of asphalt mixtures in Missouri but do not directly refine those materials. These members play a vital role in maintaining a consistent supply across Missouri’s asphalt network.
Aggregate Supplier Member
Companies that manufacture or sell aggregates used in asphalt pavement mixtures in Missouri. These members provide the foundational materials essential to durable, high-performing pavements.
Associate Member
Businesses that offer products or services supporting the asphalt industry—such as equipment, testing, professional services, additives, insurance, bonding, or financing. Associate Members help strengthen all aspects of Missouri’s asphalt community.
City-County Member
City or county agencies with an interest in asphalt pavement design, construction, and maintenance. These members engage with MAPA to stay connected to the latest practices, technology, and specifications that impact local infrastructure.
Consultant Member
Engineering or consulting firms that serve city, county, or state agencies involved in asphalt pavement projects. Consultant Members collaborate with MAPA to remain informed on current standards, materials, and innovations in pavement design and construction.
Dues & Payment
All dues are payable April 1, and the MAPA membership year runs April 1 to March 31.
Additional notes:
- Contributions or gifts to MAPA are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
- However, dues and assessment payments may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
- A reCAPTCHA is included as part of the application for spam prevention.
Once the form is submitted, it will be reviewed at the next quarterly board meeting, and the applicant will be informed of acceptance status.
